The Checkerboard Side Table turns a classic parquet motif into solid stone. Squares of polished marble and honed travertine are hand-cut, fitted and polished into one bold C-shaped block — a side table that reads as much like sculpture as furniture. Sized at 37 × 37 cm with a 52 cm rise, it sits perfectly beside a sofa, armchair or bed, holding a lamp, a drink or a stack of favourite books.
Please note: natural stone is formed over thousands of years, so every table is one of a kind, with variations in colour, veining, pattern and texture. That individuality is the point — no two homes will ever have the same piece.

Made to order. Each Checkerboard Side Table is carved to order in our workshop. Please allow 20–30 business days for production before dispatch — the veining and checker layout of your piece will be unique to your order.
Care & Maintenance
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, vinegar, acidic products and harsh chemicals, as these may dull or etch the polished stone surface. As with any natural marble, wipe spills promptly — especially wine, coffee or citrus.

Each piece is carved after you order. Production takes 20–30 business days, plus international shipping of roughly 2–3 weeks. We will send tracking as soon as it leaves the workshop.
Is natural stone durable enough for a table top?
Yes. Marble and travertine have anchored palaces for millennia, and each table is cut from solid stone — no veneer, no printed surface to peel. A stone table will outlast the trends around it; just wipe spills promptly to keep the polish pristine.
Does the table need assembly?
No — the table arrives as a finished, solid piece, foam-packed with shock protection.
What if it arrives damaged?
Every table is foam-packed with shock protection. If anything arrives damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours and we'll ship a free replacement or refund in full — no return needed.
Can I order a stone that's not listed?
