Sold as a pair. The Raw Stone Knob is a small block of stone left exactly as the quarry broke it — square in outline, rounded soft by hand at the edges, with a porous, pitted face that no tool has smoothed. Each block is hand-picked at the stone yard for weight and evenness, then drilled and fitted with a concealed threaded insert so it sits on the door like a pebble that grew there. Rough to the eye, it is surprisingly comfortable in the hand — the surface has the dry, warm grip of old masonry.
Please note: natural stone is formed over thousands of years, so every knob is one of a kind, with variations in colour, texture, pitting and form. That individuality is the point — no two homes will ever have the same hardware.

Care & Maintenance
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. The open pores of raw stone hold dust — a soft brush clears them without scratching. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, vinegar, acidic products and harsh chemicals, as these may dull or stain the natural surface. Do not fill or seal the pores with wax.

Raw Stone Knob vs. Raw Stone Door Pull — which do I need?
The knob is a single point of grip: right for drawers, shutters, wardrobe doors and anything you open with one hand. The Raw Stone Door Pull is a taller boulder that gives a full-height door a vertical handle to wrap your whole hand around. Many rooms use both — pulls on wardrobes, knobs on drawers — for a matching, geologically minded set.
Will the rough surface snag clothes?
No. The face keeps its natural pitted texture, but the edges and corners of every block are hand-rounded before mounting, so nothing catches on sleeves. The stones we select are dense enough that the surface does not crumble or shed grit in daily use.
How is the knob mounted?
A concealed threaded insert sits behind the stone; the supplied bolt passes through the door into it. Drill to the depth marked on the installation drawing, hand-tighten and never use power tools on the stone.
What if one arrives damaged?
Every pair is foam-packed with shock protection. If anything arrives damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours and we'll ship a free replacement — no return needed.
