Sold as a pair. The Oval Marble Knob is a river pebble carved up to full-palm scale: a solid block of Italian marble or Turkish travertine, ground and polished by hand until the stone sits in your hand like something smoothed by water. The oval face is gently dished for the fingers while the back stays round, so from the front of the door the knob reads as one seamless piece of stone. A concealed brass insert at its base accepts a single screw — no visible hardware, no mount plate. Two knobs per box, one for each door of a pair.
Please note: natural stone is formed over thousands of years, so every knob is one of a kind, with variations in colour, veining, pattern and texture. That individuality is the point — no two homes will ever have the same hardware.
Approximate knob measurements: 7.87 in (20 cm) high × 7.09 in (18 cm) wide × 2.56 in (6.5 cm) deep — an oversized, full-palm grip for wardrobes and feature cabinetry.

Care & Maintenance
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, vinegar, acidic products and harsh chemicals, as these may dull or etch the natural stone surface. Travertine keeps its natural open pores — do not fill or seal with wax.

Why an oval instead of a round knob?
The elongated pebble form gives your whole palm something to hold, not just the fingertips. On tall wardrobe doors that extra grip makes heavy leaves feel weightless, and the soft oval keeps the door front looking calm and organic.
How is the knob mounted?
A single screw passes through the door or drawer front into the concealed brass insert at the base. Drill to the depth marked on the installation drawing, hand-tighten and never use power tools on the stone. Standard hardware, easy to source locally if a longer screw is needed for thick fronts.
Will the polished marble face show fingerprints?
Polished stone behaves like polished timber — light marks wipe away with a damp cloth. Honed travertine colourways are far more forgiving; if you prefer a completely matte surface, choose one of the travertine options.
What if it arrives damaged?
Every knob is foam-packed with shock protection. If anything arrives damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours and we'll ship a free replacement — no return needed.
